Workshop Management and Maintenance
The modernized Apprenticeship Training concept integrates training of apprentices at the Training Providers. To meet the standards set in the Occupational Standards and broken down in the Unit Specifications, Training Providers (TP) have to facilitate learning on maintenance principals and major elements. They should set a good example for the workshops in the informal industries.
The Workshop, which addressed 37 TP-Representatives intended to
- Create awareness of maintenance costs and benefits
- Equip Training Provider representatives with skills and knowledge to improve workshop organization/management
- Develop and test the implementation of a maintenance concept adjusted to the respective conditions of the Training Providers
The Workshop was successfully conducted in Accra from 12th May to 16th May 2014.
