A school management training took place from 17th to 20th March 2014 in Dodowa. The German facilitator Inke Hase and the Ghanaian expert Dr. Ahmed Jinapor conducted a work shop for heads, principals and administrators of the 17 pilot schools participating in the activities of the Ghana Skills Development Initiative.
Ahmed Jinapor was involved in such a training for the first time and stated the following:
“Based on these experiences with GSDI I can attest to the commitment and desire of this organization in the improvement of vocational and technical educational development in Ghana. Personal interactions with heads, principals and administrators of various vocational and technical institutes who participated in the quality management workshop reveals a high level of professionalism and passionate desire on the part of GSDI to leave a mark on vocational and technical education in Ghana.”
With this work shop a series of capacity building measure on school management level came to a (preliminary) end.
