FATHER DOGLI MEMORIAL VOCATIONAL/TECHNICAL INSTITUTE

BRIEF HISTORY

Father Dogli Memorial Vocational/Technical Institute is a Government assisted Co-Educational Institute absorbed into the public system formerly under the N.V.T.I in 2003, but currently under the Ghana Education Service.

It was established in 1997 by the Roman Catholic Church in the Jasikan Diocese to educate and equip the youth with employable skills.

 

VISION STATEMENT

The vision of the institution is to ‘’be an economically and socially sustainable institution that provides quality, relevant skills and intellectual training based on gospel values for sustainable livelihood’’.

 

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the institution is ‘’to use effective and sustainable process such as commitment, hard work, selflessness, unity and collaboration in providing the youth with knowledge and relevant employable skill based on sound moral value’’.

 

PROGRAMMES

In line with its objective, the school provides skills training in

  • Carpentry and Joinery (C&J),
  • Building and Construction (B&C),
  • Agric Mechanization,
  • Fashion and Design,
  • Business Accounting and Secretarial Options,
  • Electrical Installation Works,
  • Textiles,
  • Diploma in Technology and General Arts.

 

The students that the school attracts are mainly from Accra, Likpe, Buem, Ho, Nkwanta, Krachi, Kpandai, Yendi, Dambai and the Northern Region of Ghana.
